Smithtown West is a public high school located in Smithtown, Suffolk County, New York. The team regularly plays the Long Island circuit and is a competitor in Long Island's Regional Quiz Bowl league. The team has seen a recent resurgence in activity. In the 2015-2016 season, nine tournaments were played and they finally got their own QBWiki page. They also qualified for the HSNCT, NSC, and NAC in that year. .
