Brett Hogan is the club president and team captain of the [[Fairview (AL)]] high school scholar's bowl team.

Brett Hogan is a former quizbowl player for [[Fairview (AL)]] and [[Wallace State]]. After Wallace State he transferred to [[Athens State]], which does not have an active quizbowl program.
  
He is currently a senior. Brett is [[Fairview (AL)]]'s workhorse- he is the only player that puts time and effort into studying and preparing for quizbowl and thus winds up scoring the vast majority of the team's points.

The aforementioned dedication led him to get the top individual award for points scored at the 2016 [[Cullman County Scholar Bowl]]. Brett was also named to the Cullman county all-star team in 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2015.
 
 
 
Brett is widely known for his vast improvement of [[Fairview (AL)]]'s quizbowl program. He handles all team-related duties and responsibilities and as a result [[Fairview (AL)]] continues to compete in tournaments throughout the state of Alabama.
