Buffalo Grove High School is in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. The team plays in the Mid-Suburban League (MSL) and has consistently been among hte better teams in Illinois. In 2008-2009, they placed second in the MSL thanks to the solid play of David Garb, Nick Bergeon, and Alex Harrison. The team has improved significantly in the past five years due to the arrival of strong generalists such as Justin Wytmar and Rohan Ganeshan, culminating in a 5th-place finish at the 2021 HSNCT after taking just one loss in the prelims.
