A former player at Fort Zumwalt West and freshman at Truman State, Dylan is widely recognized for his knowledge of literature and visual arts.
High School
Dylan placed second in the inaugural MOQBA Singles Championship, losing only to Grant Gates. Before the 2010-2011 season, Fort Zumwalt West was widely recognized to be perhaps the most promising team. However, Fort Zumwalt West Coach Jeremy Gibbs resigned after the 2009-2010 season, as Becraft had been pushing for the team to attend more good quizbowl tournaments. As a result, Dylan was unable to find a new coach, and one of the most talented players in the state was unable to play for his junior and senior years.
College
Dylan has been playing on Truman's A team, and was the top scorer at Truman's Mirror of 2012 Collegiate Novice. He also placed 4th individually at Penn-ance.
