Bruce Lou was a player at UC Berkeley, class of '19; he previously attended Saratoga High School. He is best known for his achievements in History Bowl, as he did not start playing Quiz Bowl until 2014; however, he has won several notable titles in both.

Bruce first entered national prominence when he won the 2014 US History Bee, where he faced off against Sameer Rai in the finals.
