The Phoenix Quiz Bowl team regularly makes the NAQT nationals tournament. RCHS qualified 2 quiz bowl teams to go to NAQT in the 2011-2012 season.

After great successes with coach Eric Grunden (now principal of Research Triangle High School), Raleigh Charter turned to Betsy Newmark as its main coach in the 2012-2013 season.

The 2012-2013 team is led by seniors Dan Qu and Ben Whitfield. The team was able to achieve 2nd place at the season opener at the Golden Eagle Cup, and followed that up with the team's first tournament championship in over a year at the Guilford Quaker Bowl.

Raleigh Charter is a charter high school in Raleigh, North Carolina and regularly wins tournaments held in that state. They won the 2006 NSC.

The Phoenix Quiz Bowl team regularly makes the NAQT nationals tournament. RCHS qualified 2 quiz bowl teams to go to NAQT in the 2011-2012 season.
