Shortly after making his comeback in Spring 2012, it was discovered that Shantanu had misused his NAQT editor's privileges in an attempt to help Chicago do better at the 2012 ICT, a title for which he himself was ineligible due to his editing history with NAQT [http://hsquizbowl.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=12970]. He is no longer a member of the Chicago team.

In high school, Shantanu Jha was a 2008 PACE All-Star, and was 24th individually at the 2008 HSNCT. After matriculating at Chicago Shantanu helped that school's A team win Div I at ICT 2009 and the 2009 ACF Nationals.

Since then, Shantanu has played very little quizbowl and took some time off from Chicago. He did some editing for 2010 Penn Bowl, T-Party 2010, Harvard International, the 2010 ICT, Chicago Open Lit 2010, and Jean-Baptiste Lully Fine Arts doubles.

Shortly after making his comeback in Spring 2012, it was discovered that Shantanu had misused his NAQT editor's privileges in an attempt to help Chicago do better at the 2012 ICT, a title for which he himself was ineligible due to his editing history with NAQT [1]. He is no longer a member of the Chicago team.
