Bernard Lord is a former premier of New Brunswick and the youngest-ever elected Canadian premier.

According to a 1999 Maclean's article, he was a "mainstay" on the Reach for the Top team at Moncton High School in the early 1980s. It is unknown if his team progressed to the national finals representing New Brunswick, but it is known that Reach was well into its decline in popularity at that point, so no one noticed.

Along with Stephen Harper and Kim Campbell, he is part of a significant list of Conservative leaders with Reach roots.
