Brandon DeCuir was one of the original members of the team at Louisiana-Lafayette. He attended the club's first tournament in November 2001 at Texas A&M.

He earned his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UL in Spring 2007 and currently resides in Houston, TX where he works for Baker Hughes, Inc.
