Worksheet round

Sometimes a substitute for a category round in high school four quarter format, this involves handing out two copies of a printed sheet of ten questions, one to each team, and allowing each team to work on it collectively within a specified timeframe. Each team receives credit for all of its correct answers, regardless of whether the opponent also got the question right. Thus, each team can score up to 100 points (possibly including an equivalent to the category round bonus for sweeping all ten questions).

Variants

The OAC format uses a 20-question worksheet in which all correct answers in a particular round begin with the same letter. The letter for each round is revealed in advance to teams. The format calls this the "alphabet round."
