North Carolina Wesleyan College, located in Rocky Mount, NC, began attending tournaments in 2009. Their program was founded by assistant librarian Steve Bahnaman, who had played collegiate quizbowl.
NC Wesleyan was the Mid-Atlantic host for 2010 ACF Winter, which was won by VCU.
