The '''2024 Chicago Open''' was played on July 27, 2024. In contrast to the prior year's long period of non-announcement and non-volunteering, an editing team formed almost immediately after the prior CO's conclusion under the leadership of [[Jordan Brownstein]]. [[Young Fenimore Lee]] returned as logistics coordinator and tournament director. The tournament drew 30 teams, CO's largest field ever.

The finals ended rather early at 10:01 p.m., with top bracket rounds for non-finalists ending around 9 p.m.
