'''Lexington High School''' is a public school in Lexington, Missouri, about 40 miles east of Kansas City. It competes in MSHSAA Class 3.

The team has historically been one of the strongest in Class 3 competition. Under coach Jim McCrary, the team has attended the [[MSHSAA]] State tournament nine times and placed in the final four in seven of those appearances, though none have resulted in a state championship.

In 2008, the tournament was moved to November 15 to reduce the chance of inclement weather affecting the tournament.

The JV tournament has typically featured a five-period format (toss-ups, lightning, toss-ups with bonuses, worksheet, and double-value toss-ups).

Lexington's 2009 Tournament was notorious for using an abysmal [[Questions Galore]] set, as well as a controversial denied protest that decided the large school championship game. [[Savannah (Missouri High School)|Savannah]] was awarded the large school championship after a first-to-three tiebreaker, but many feel that [[North Kansas City]]'s denied protest on a part on the final bonus of regulation was not handled properly and consider NKC to be the true champion of the large school division.
