Won the NAC. Team consister of Alex Silverstein, Bryan Lee, Marc Singer, and Jennifer Dikes and was coached by Gerald Greenbaum, who had started as It's Academic coach at ER in 1976.
Despite losing to Winnetonka of Kansas City in one of their two prelim games, Roosevelt ended up winning the tournament by defeating R.L. Paschhal from Fort Worth 310-215 in the final. They then dropped the Texaco Star North American Challenge to Earl Haig.
