The Association of College Unions International is a professional organization for administrators of student unions on college campuses. Among its varied functions are coordinating intramural and intercollegiate activities of several kinds, including bar games and poetry slams. It contracted with College Bowl to provide questions and rules for a quizbowl-like game at the intramural, regional, and national levels until College Bowl folded after the 2007-2008 season. After that, NAQT worked out a deal with ACUI which impacted the SCT for a few years. After the 2012-13 season, NAQT and ACUI stopped working together.
