Alex Abshire

Alex was an original member of the UL Lafayette Club for Academic Competition who joined in 2001.
During the 2003 version of Penn Bowl, he powered a tossup that gave a young UL team an early 50-0 lead over an experienced, well renowned Michigan A team of Matt Lafer, Ezequiel Berdichevsky, Adam Kemezis, and Michael Davidson. Michigan A eventually won that game 410-60 and the tournament.
He attended many tournaments during his time at UL and graduated in Spring of 2005.
