Alex served as Secretary-Treasurer of the William & Mary Quizbowl Team from 2019 to 2021 and President for the 2021-22 season. He helped guide the team through COVID and brought the club back to normal in-person meetings. Alex Howe is an alumnus of the Thomas Jefferson (VA) and William and Mary Quizbowl team. In the 2017-2018 season, Howe was a member of both the TJ PACE NSC and TJ Varsity History Bowl A teams, both of which also won first place at their respective national tournaments, as well as the TJ HSNCT A team.
