Alex Nelson is a sophomore at the University of Minnesota who appeared halfway through the 2010-2011 season, having only previously played Knowledge Bowl. He is helping to write the 2011 Minnesota High School Novice Tournament. He played on the 6th place Minnesota D team at the 2011 SCT North (Region 10) with Michael VanDeWeghe, Paul Barta, Melanie Keating, and Kelsey McCoy.
