Andrew Alexander played high school quizbowl for Princess Anne. His team went 5-5 at the 2004 HSNCT and tied for 13th at the 2005 HSNCT. His team also made the playoff bracket at the 2004 NSC.
In college, he joined Matt Weiner's VCU team in the spring of 2006. He helped win the 2006 ACF Regionals, the 2006 UNC tournament, the 2007 NAQT Sectionals at George Mason, and the 2007 Maryland Terrapin.
