Hou (Ben) Zhang is a freshman at Ladue. His real name is pronounced "ho", as his teammates found out in his freshman year, subjecting him to endless teasing. He has improved a lot through the year by packet study, with a side affect being lower grades at school.

He never played on a winning team so far, but led a couple of B teams to almost qualify for the 2011 HSNCT. Ben also contributed questions to LIST, Ladue's inaugural housewritten tournament, but he could have contributed more if he wasn't editing the wiki.
