Campbell Memorial High School is a city school, but not part of the Youngstown City School District. It lies in the eastern third of Mahoning County, Ohio. The team was formed in 2004 and has been coached by Kaliope Rohan since the beginning. Campbell has been among the most surprising programs in the Mahoning County Quizbowl League since they joined; their place in the First Division for 2008 above some of the longer tenured and more accomplished teams in the competition shows this.
Campbell (pronounced camel) was one of three Mahoning County teams to play NAQT format before the League switched to the format in 2007. They participated in the 2005 NAQT Ohio State Championship at Youngstown State University. Also, the former captain of the team, Robert Merva, now runs the League website.
