"Farmer" Cooper Roh (Class of 2022) is a quiz bowl player for Hotchkiss (aka Team Coldhug) in Connecticut. He previously played for Keith Country Day in Illinois, which he led to 21st- (2017) and 33rd-place (2018) finishes at MSNCT. He also competes in NHBB , and finished as a national finalist at the middle school NHBB national finals in Atlanta in 2018.

Notable Achievements

He was the NAQT Middle School Player of the Week for the week of November 4th, 2017. He was an All-Star at three consecutive MSNCTs, those being in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Cooper was also the only middle-schooler in attendance at the 2018 IPNCT, placing second in power percentage. He lead his team to a sixth place finish at the 2018 USABB and placed third in the Humanities Bee. At the 2018 International History Olympiad, he won Women's History, got second in Art History, and third in German Military History. He was awarded a spot on the 2018 Middle School National A Team. He led 7th-seeded Team Coldhug to a 2nd place finish at the 2019 NHBB History Bowl finals, was a semifinalist in the US History Bee, and also finished as a bee finalist.
