Crystal Springs Uplands School is a private 6-12 school located in Hillsborough, CA. The quiz bowl program, while longstanding, only came to prominence with the rise of Justine French, generalist with specialties in math and fine arts. After taking over the club with their friend Partha Rao, CSUS came to be feared in the NorCal circuit.
