Daichi won the Wallace Stevens Literature Singles Tournament after correctly guessing that Allende and Kawabata would come up in the finals. Despite his clairvoyance, Daichi actually missed the Kawabata toss-up despite doing some last minute studying on him in the 5 minute break before the finals. Daichi currently attends [[Vanderbilt]].
