Daichi won the Wallace Stevens Literature Singles Tournament after correctly guessing that Allende and Kawabata would come up in the finals. Despite his clairvoyance, Daichi still missed the Kawabata toss-up after some last minute studying up on him in the 5 minute break before the finals. He attended [[Vanderbilt]] for the 2009-10 school year, and helped the team get second at the [[ACF Fall]] mirror at [[Georgia Tech]] on Halloween. He then transferred to [[Chicago]], where he currently plays.
