Deepak Moparthi is an incredibly skilled player who played for Stevenson High School. Despite his reputation as a science player, Deepak often showed his deep generalist when he repeatedly beat teammate Olivia Lamberti to literature tossups and finished third in the regional NHBB varsity C-set tournament, beating out teammates Conrad Oberhaus's and Chris Muth. He was part of the successful Stevenson team that got 8th at HSNCT and 6th at PACE in his senior year.
