Eleanor Roosevelt High School is a large public high school in the DC suburb of Greenbelt, Maryland. They have a history of success at early pyramidal quizbowl and It's Academic, including third place finishes at the 1999 and 2002 NSCs. In more recent years, the program has attended far fewer events.
According to Matt Bollinger, ER hosted a yearly speed tournament as recently as February 2009; results and statistics for this tournament are difficult to verify.
