The French International School of Philadelphia or EFIP (Ecole Française Internationale de Philadelphie) is an independent private school located in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, just outside of the Philadelphia city limits. The school hosts a bilingual educational program in both French and English for grades PK-8.

Quizbowl Program

In (at least) 2016 and 2019, several EFIP students competed (individually) in the National History Bee's middle school regional tournament, where a few students qualified for nationals each year.

In 2021, Alex Dzurick formed a team to compete in online middle school events while teaching at EFIP. In the team's debut event (the Pennsylvania Middle School Academic Tournament), they took 3rd place and had the top overall individual scorer. Their next event, IQBL's Middle School Madness, pitted a two-person EFIP team against Iowa teams. The pair scored one victory and finished with a 1-5 record. To close the season, a team of sixth graders competed in the WIMSEY elementary event against teams in Missouri.
