Ian Eppler plays quizbowl for Brown. He is a member of PACE and an operator in the Quizbowl IRC channel.

College

Ian played in a few college tournaments while he was still in high school. Along with Guy Tabachnick and Ben Cohen, he won the 2010 Division 2 ICT. Ian and Ben also placed second in Division 2 at 2010 ACF Nationals.

High School

During his high school career at Georgetown Day School, Ian was a three-time NAQT HSNCT all-star, from 2007 to 2009, an NSC All-Star in 2009, and the winner of numerous individual scoring awards at regular-season events. He (usually) led the 2009 Georgetown Day team in scoring en route to a 3rd place finish at the 2009 NSC and a 5th place finish at the 2009 HSNCT.

Writing and Editing

Ian co-edited the No Name Tournament, run during the fall of 2008. He was a writer for HSAPQ, and contributed to the 2009 Brown Early Fall Tournament and the 2010 Georgetown Day Tournament.
