Jefferson Community and Technical College, located in Louisville, Kentucky, is one of 16 colleges forming the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. A public, comprehensive, post-secondary institution, Jefferson enrolls about 13,000 students a semester in academic and technical programs. Jefferson won the 2016 CCCT, defeating defending national champion State College-Manatee. Jefferson has qualified for the CCCT every year since 2011, and has finished in the top 8 at CCCT from 2012-2019. Jefferson has qualified for the ICT in 2012, 2013, and 2016. Jefferson earned the #1 ranking based on its D-value preceding the 2018 and 2020 CCCT. The team is coached by Peter Rodski. Rodski has been coaching the team since 1996. Previous coaches included Diane Calhoun French, Vince Donoto, John Long, Amy Sprinkle, and John Limeberry.


Notable Alumni


  • Jefferson competes in the Kentucky Collegiate Quick Recall League KCQRL, they are the current Division II Champs (2018-2019).
  • Jefferson has won CC sectional titles in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2020.
  • Jefferson has qualified for the CCCT in 2011 (19th), 2012 (5th), 2013 (5th), 2014 (5th), 2015 (5th), 2016 (1st), 2017(6th), 2018(5th), 2019(8th).
  • Jefferson has qualified for the ICT in 2012 (29th), 2013 (22nd), and 2016 (27th & highest placing CC).
  • Jefferson hosted the first annual Midwest CC Invitational in 2017. Jefferson took 1st, East Central CC (MO) took 2nd place. Jefferson has also hosted the Delta Burke mirror numerous times.

Jefferson has had numerous top 10 finishers at nationals including Scott Zwyedorff (2nd in 2013), Tim Ellis (7th in 2017, and 3rd in 2018), Alex Akridge (2nd in 2018), Morgan Williamson (4th in 2019).
