Joey Spicer is a former player for Missouri and a member of the Missouri Quizbowl Alliance.
High School Career
He served two years as varsity quiz bowl captain for Fort Osage High School. Joey also competed in the Science Knowledge Bowl competition all three years of high school. During his final year, he was the captain of the 8th place team in the regional competition at Rockhurst University.

After arriving at Mizzou, Joey quickly embraced a role on the team, attending ACF Regionals, the Matt Cvijanovich Memorial Novice Tournament and ACF Nationals in 2009.

Joey nobly spent a day keeping statistics at Tiger Bowl II, and moderated at the 2009 Missouri Fall Academic Tournament. Having proven himself very capable of the job, Joey was named a co-director of the inaugural Mort Walker Invitational and became a member of MOQBA in late 2010.
