Jonathan Lau is a senior at University of Illinois Laboratory High School (Uni High) in Urbana, IL. He placed 4th at the 2018 Scobol Solo and was the lead scorer on Uni's 2019 HSNCT team that placed second at the tournament. In 2020, he was a member of the Illinois A team scheduled to compete at NASAT before the tournament's cancellation. Later that year, he became the first player from Downstate Illinois to win the New Trier Scobol Solo.
