La Jolla High School is a public high school in a north suburb of San Diego. It competes actively in the SoCal Quizbowl scene as well as Academic League. Their current A team is regarded as one of the top teams in Southern California after consistent tournament finishes and a t-34th finish at the 2014 HSNCT. La Jolla has been reluctant to play a full A team so far in the 2014-15 season, but in has shown itself to be reasonably competent, not placing below third at any of its rare sightings.
