The modchat is typically used to refer collectively to moderators of the ILQBM Facebook group, which is alleged to be a shadowy cabal of quiz bowl luminaries who exercise their power behind the scenes akin to the Chicago SJW Cabal and the various iterations of the ACF Cabal.
There is no known criteria for entry into the group.
