Morgan Venkus is a former player for Loyola Academy who may or may not play for Chicago. During the 2012-2013 school year, he "transformed from a really good Quizbowl player to one of the best in the nation" according to Harry White [1]. At the 2013 HSNCT, he played solo during the prelims, was the #3 overall prelim scorer, and qualified his team for the playoffs, finishing in 3rd place after his teammates rejoined him for Sunday.
