The NAQT High School Team of the Week is a program that began on 7 January 2017. This program recognizes a high school team(s) each week based on performance at competitions the previous week.

1/28/2017 Lehigh Valley Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Won Manheim Township Academic Challenge (9-0). [4]
2/4/2017 Corona del Sol Tempe, Arizona Went 6-0 to win Arizona Quizbowl Association Invitational. [5]
2/11/2017 Stevenson Lincolnshire, Illinois Won NAQT Illinois State Championship (12-1) [6]
2/18/2017 Olympia A Orlando, Florida Won Matador Invitational at Valencia (first ever NAQT event) [7]
2/25/2017 Norman A Norman, Oklahoma Won Bulldog Invitational, with average winning margin of 330 points [8]
3/4/2017 Lake City A, B, & C Lake City, Colorado Sent three teams to the NAQT Colorado State Championship, despite the school having only 38 students. A team qualified for SSNCT. [9]
3/11/2017 Essex A Essex, Vermont Won NAQT Vermont State Championship with no seniors, their fifth straight year finishing in the top 3. [10]
3/18/2017 Spring Valley A Columbia, South Carolina Went 6-1 in the morning, and finished fourth at the NAQT South Carolina State Championship; the first tournament in team history! [11]
