New Berlin High School is just west of Springfield in central Illinois. They traditionally are one of the stronger Class A (small school) teams in Illinois. In 2010, they finished 2nd in Class A in the 2010 IHSA State Championship Tournament under Coach Teresa Woodard, and their top players that year were Aaron Staley and Sam Stowell.
