Nick Jensen (pronounced the non-American/Danish way) came from Wisconsin to Dartmouth in 2011 to improve steadily during his first year. Studying Biology and Chemistry, Nick joins the ranks of quizbowlers obsessed with Murakami and the smaller ranks of players who love animal taxa (see Jeff Hoppes or Greg Tito). He played as Dartmouth's main generalist on most subjects, with particular ability in world mythology and literature, poetry, and visual arts, in addition to his general literature and science knowledge.

He retired from Dartmouth Quizbowl after events at 2014 ACF Nationals.

Since 2017, he has been a PhD student in Microbiology at UC Davis. He began playing tournaments for Davis in the 2019-2020 academic year.

His writing and editing credentials include writing Biology, Chemistry, and Literature for Cane Ridge Revival and then co-writing RILKE, both under the editorship of John Lawrence. During his Davis years, he edited Religion, Mythology, and Geography for 2020 ACF Regionals and American History, Chemistry, Religion, Social Science for 2020 ACF Winter.

Perhaps his most notable playing achievement is when his team beat the fearsome superteam of Matt Bollinger, Jordan Brownstein, Ophir Lifshitz, and Andrew Wang (possibly the strongest ever CO team) at 2021 Chicago Open, with Nick putting up a 3-5-1 statline. In 2022, Nick followed this up by winning 2022 Chicago Open playing alongside Jordan Brownstein, Taylor Harvey, and Jonathen Settle, getting 3 of the final 4 tossups to win the finals against a team led by Matt Bollinger.
