Ophir Lifshitz was a member of the University of Maryland quizbowl team between 2011 and 2017. He was part of the first place Maryland team at the 2017 ACF Nationals. Currently, Ophir plays at the Open level.

Ophir has created such quizbowl resources as OphirStats, the College Quizbowl Calendar, the Quizbowl Pronouncing Dictionary, the Quizbowl Manual of Style, a difficulty scale, and has written several insightful articles about quizbowl. Many of these projects are hosted on http://ophir.li/.

Ophir has been a contributor and editor for many sets, among which are 2019 Terrapin and 2020’s Terrapin Open. In addition, he has provided proofreading, pronunciation guides, and aided in packetization for sets including ACF Fall 2019, 2020 ACF Fall, and 2020 ACF Winter.

Ophir is also known for his excellence as a moderator.
