Peter Bergman is the current coach of Solon High School's quizbowl program.
Early Life
Bergman attended high school in New Jersey, and studied at Ithaca College.
Post College
Bergman began as an English and Film teacher at Solon in 1999, and was chosen to take over as coach for Bob Weiser after his retirement in 2015.
NAQT
Bergman has consistently hosted many of the premier NAQT events in the state of Ohio, such as the Solon Fall Tournament and Comet Winter Clash. He has coached Solon teams to continuous state and national appearances. Notable players to be coached by him include Rohin Devanathan, John Xiang, Timmy Huang, and Sam Oguntoyinbo.
