Princeton High School is a school in Princeton, NJ.
History
The Quiz Bowl team was founded in 2016. In 2017-18, it finished 3rd at Scarlet Knight Fall, 4th at PHSAT XXV, 4th at the Henderson Invitational, and 2nd at the NAQT New Jersey State Championship. The team was disbanded and became nonexistent until 2022, when it was refounded upon an invitation to the Long Island Quiz Bowl Alliance's Garden Bowl at Rutgers, where it won 3rd place behind Livingston and Choate. The team has also competed at the 2022 Jersey Shore Introductory tournament, where it won first place, and the 2023 Choate tournament. Current leaders include Luca Balescu and Samuel Whitley. Other current players are Kritanu Saha, Sumuk Anand, Ella Sheffield, Armaan Ahmed, and Diane Buffet-Mogel.
Team Culture
The team operates often over its Discord server. In 2023, a flag was designed for use by the team, which counts visits to the restaurant Nando's as a rite of passage.
