The quizbowl IRC channel is a chat channel on SlashNET where people play packets, playtest future tournaments, play ACF Pyramid, and talk to other quizbowl players. The channel's address on SlashNET is #quizbowl. Another popular quizbowl IRC channel is #scobowl, which was recommended by Mike Bentley in this hsquizbowl.org thread, but is often derided for containing people who memorize the first clues of every question.
