Rohan Hegde is a member of the Thomas Jefferson (VA) Quizbowl team. Hegde was runner-up at the JV division of the 2016 National History Bee. Hegde was the winner of the JV Division of the 2015 National History Bee Washington DC Regional. Hegde was also described as a "trash specialist" at the 2014 MSNCT and was part of TJ's 34th place winning team at the 2015 HSNCT. Hegde is currently TJ quizbowl's co-captain. In 2018, Hegde, along with a team of Alex Howe, Grant Li, Kevin Wang, and Fred Zhang won PACE NSC to bring home Thomas Jefferson's first national quizbowl title in over a decade.
