The tournament used a slightly experimental arts distribution, in which the 3/3 were divided up as "visual," "auditory," and "other," rather than the usual "painting," "classical music," "other" split. SUBMIT (Submission-Utilizing Berkeley/Maryland Invitational Tournament) was a collegiate regular difficulty tournament edited by members of the Berkeley and Maryland teams for spring 2014. This tournament was head edited by Brian McPeak, who was assisted by Chris Manners, Dan Puma, Isaac Hirsch, Arun Chonai, Ankit Aggarwal and Tanay Kothari. The tournament was mirrored around the country (and in Canada) at six different sites.
