Achievements
Southside is considered one of the top teams in South Carolina, having won such tournaments as Wofford's 2008 IS-set tournament and Brookwood's 2008 JV tournament. They also attended the 2008 NAC for some reason.
Under the team of the aforementioned Ben, Ming, and Max with the addition of Phong Nguyen, Southside placed 16th overall at the 2009 NSC along with a notable victory over longtime rivals Dorman in the playoff bracket.
