If you think this is common in your area, I suspect either your area has uniquely widespread ethical problems or the people making such accusations have an unjustifiedly pessimistic and accusatory view of humanity. I've heard it a lot in my area. Its not a grudge against anyone because I can never say if it was an actual error or intentional in addition I often dont even know the full results until after the fact and nothing can be done about it, I just added a term I've heard numerous times.
