Tazewell is a public high school in Tazewell County, Virginia. They compete in VHSL Scholastic Bowl's Southwest District, which is a part of the larger Region 2D within VHSL's Class 2 (the second-smallest among VHSL's six classifications).
Tazewell also regularly competes in ACF-format tournaments, especially within the SWATA circuit which they helped found. Tazewell currently leads the circuit in SWATA tournament wins, with six 1st place finishes, five of which featured an undefeated record.
In 2017, Tazewell attended the 2017 NAQT SSNCT, where they finished 12th overall with an 8-5 record; the highest finish to date for a Southwest Virginia school competing at the national level.
