Hello, I am Brodie Henry. I am a 7th grader at West Point Middle School, and have been playing quiz bowl for WPMS since 2017 (5th grade). Before this, I played for West Point Intermediate School. My dad got me into quiz bowl and is an important member of the community (Lee Henry). I have always been a Literature/FA player, and over the summer, I went to Qwiz camp and studied lot's, making me remarkably better. For instance, last year my highest PPG at a tournament (According to NAQT) was 35, at my first tournament this year, I got 74PPG, getting 1st overall as a team and individually (My teammate Eli, was still able to get 50ppg and 2nd!). We also played at Elementary state (ASCA), and got 3rd. I got an All-Star award, tied with 42.50PPG with my teammate Eli. Idk how they broke that tie but I ended up getting it. I don't think I should have though, because after the pre-lims, my average went down to 33.33PPG and his went to 41.67PPG, barely going down, so good job to him! Another tournament that I would like to point out is the West Point Kickoff tournament (Middle school). We got 3rd, losing to Liberty in the semifinals, 210-280, coming down to tossup 19. I averaged 64.44..PPG, and my teammates also did very well! The last tournament that I find prominent thus far is the 7th annual West Point Invitational (JV division). We did fall short, getting 10/12 and B getting 12/12, but most of our rounds were close. We won round 1 by 5, lost round 2 by only 10, lost round 3 by only 15, not even gonna lie, got spanked in round 4, and lost by 80 in round 5. Although we had a 1-4 record, the fact that we were able to put up a fight in most rounds as an all 6th grade team, is awesome to me. I got 9th individually, with 35PPG, and my teammates did awesome.

Other "fun facts": My favorite color is red, my favorite food is pizza (Shoutout to Chicago for knowing how to make that stuff really good!), I am remarkably short for my age (12yr, 5ft, 2in [Where my short gang at!]), I make some weird facts about myself, and I think that Baby Yoda is probably the best think since ever.
