To end a bet, apparently people do call it Georgia, at least according to Wikipedia. Peter Cordeiro 19:36, 6 June 2014(UTC)
Just "Georgia" is the common athletic abbreviation for the school used on national news outlets. Maybe within the state of Georgia UGA is more commonly used to avoid confusion with like Georgia Tech or whatever other schools.--Zachary Yan (talk) 12:56, 6 June 2014 (PDT)
