The West Chester East High School Academic Team (often shortened to the East Academic Team) is a quizbowl team at West Chester East High School in West Chester, PA. They compete primarily on local format questions and tournaments in Lancaster County, although they also participate in Quiznet and the National Academic Championship. They have had a fair amount of success at the Pennsylvania State Academic Competition tournament, and have qualified the most for that tournament than any other team in Chester County.
The team is currently coached by Tracey Heim, who took over from long time coach Ben Chapelle.
